Location of the Office
The office is located in Sunninghill Hospital. A map is available on this site and instructions are easy to follow. You can call my rooms for directions, as well.
Room 22 is located in the West Wing, Ground Floor.
Office hours
Monday to Friday 09h00 to 13h00
Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 14h00 to 16h00
Booking are essential, this is NOT a first come first served office.
Emergencies are seen first and due to the nature of the business, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee punctuality. It is advisable to call my rooms 011 234-3280/1, to see whether we are on time or not. We would like to thank you for your patients and understanding.
Surgery
Elective surgery is performed at Sunninghill Hospital on Tuesday afternoons.
Pre Admission and Authorisation required for patients belonging to Medical Aid or Insurance.
The usual plan of the day of surgery is as follows:
06h00 ligh breakfast only. Do NOT eat after this hour
until 10h00 sips of Tea, water or clear Liqui Fruit allowed if necessary. Do NOT drink thereafter
11h00 to 12h00 be dropped at the Reception. Do NOT drive yourself to the Clinic
13h00 pre operative examination by the Anaesthesiologist; investigations if ordered
Surgery after 14h00 according to booking. Elderly, frail and pregnant patients are prioritized
Emergency surgery is performed ONLY from Sunninghill Hospital at all hours

Deliveries
I only deliver patients at Suninghill Maternity. It would be unfair and unsafe to you and to other patients to have to travel to different places. I live 5 minutes from the Clinic. 7/24/365 cover if offered by my group of specialists including drs: Dahms, Hassim, Kyriasis, O'Hanlon and myself.
I do not have any preferences and manage according to established rules or patient request, when safe and appropriate. I (we) have extensive training and experience to deal with the most complicated deliveries.
Our experienced group of pediatricians offer a 7/24/365 cover and our neonatal and intensive care facillites are stat of the art.
An excellent anaesthetic service for epidurals and Caesarean Sections is available 7/24/365
Sunninghill Hospital is a fully fledged clinic able to cope with the most complex emergencies, procedures and complications, we hope you will never need.
