At Sunninghill Maternity we are proud to have a group of experienced and dedicated Paediatricians covering Routine and Emergiaency deliveries 7/24/365. Our Neonatal and Intensive Care Unit is state of art and we are proud of our results.

Weight gain in pregnancy

There is NO normal weight gain. On average, 12.5kg are gained during the 9 months or 40 weeks of a normal pregnancy, and with breast feeding are lost within 6 weeks after delivery. The weight gain varies and depends on the pre pregnant weight, diet and exercise during pregnancy.
